MY STORY
From scarcity to self-leadership –
and into joyful financial freedom.
MY STORY
Money has always been a part of my story. I’ve experienced nearly every stage of financial life – from “barely surviving” to “more than enough.”
And along the way, I’ve learned powerful lessons – about money, about life, and most of all, about myself.
What I discovered is this: true financial freedom starts with self-leadership. And once I claimed that for myself, everything changed.
Scarcity
I grew up in deep poverty.
I knew from a very young age how heavy financial pressure can feel.
And I made a decision early on: “I never want to be poor again.”
But life didn’t hand me abundance just because I wanted it. As a young adult, I experienced financial anxiety, was denied loans, and lived hand to mouth. It wasn’t easy.
Success – and the price of it
At 24, I started my journey into entrepreneurship.
Fourteen years later, I had built three successful companies with my then-husband, raised two children, and moved our family into a beautiful home.
From the outside, I had “made it.”
But success came at a price. I had pushed too hard for too long – ignoring my own needs. Eventually, I developed a generalized anxiety disorder that deeply affected my life.
In 2011, I collapsed in a supermarket with my children. What followed was a diagnosis, a full shutdown, and a moment of absolute clarity.
The turning point
That breakdown became my breakthrough. I decided to completely restructure my life: I left my marriage, sold my shares in the business, and began again – on my own terms, in a place that felt right.
It was only then that I realized something shocking:
Despite years of running companies, I had no real connection to my personal finances.
I had never handled my taxes. I didn’t know what my retirement plan looked like. I felt ashamed.
So I got to work.
I read everything I could get my hands on. I hired expensive advisors (some of whom taught me what not to do). I made mistakes. And I kept going.
Eventually, I learned to manage my wealth on my own – confidently and with clarity.
And with that came a feeling I hadn’t known before: self-determined peace.
The beginning of something new
Somewhere along the way, people started asking me for advice – friends, clients, women in my network. And before I knew it, I had stepped into a new role:
Money Mentor.
Not just someone who teaches numbers – but someone who understands the emotional, energetic, and structural challenges women face when it comes to money.
I’ve been there.
I’ve felt the fear.
And I’ve built the freedom.
Today, I guide women through their own transformation – into clarity, strength, and joyful ownership of their finances.
